Open Call JAI 2020 - Institute of Artistic Practices

The JAI -Institute of Artistic Practices- study programme started on July 2020 and it will work as a space for the exchange and transmission of artistic methodologies. Training will take place at the Tabakalera Creators' Space between 1 July and 30 August.
Ibon Aranberri (Artist), Asier Mendizabal (Artist and Professor at KKH, Royal Institute of Art of Stockholm), and Itziar Okariz (Artist) will work as tutors for this new Institute. Participation as teachers will be undertaken by Katinka Bock, June Crespo, Moyra Davey, Jon Mikel Euba, Kobe Matthys-Agency, Lily Reynaud Dewar, Camila Sposati, and Zbynëk Baladran.
Additionally, the Institute will have a Study Committee made up of Beatriz Herráez (Director at Artium), Oier Etxeberria (Person in Charge of Contemporary Art at the Tabakalera International Centre for Contemporary Culture, San Sebastián), and the three aforementioned tutors. The Committee members will select the 16 participants that will be part of the Artists' school.
This programme is organised in collaboration with Basque Museum-Center of Contemporary Art Artium.
